Good morning!
I'm excited to announce another Ruby Rae + Friends at Freddy's next Wednesday, Oct 10th with special guests Mary-Elaine Jenkins, Jefferson Hamer, and Supersmall! You guys, these folks are incredibly talented - can't wait to hear what they are working on. Come by to hang out, grab some tater tots, catch up and hear some great songs. Music starts round robin style at 8:30.
Next month I'll be heading to Mexico to play the Akumal Arts Festival, Nov 9-11! So thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Akumal where I was an artist in residence in 2015. I'm really excited to play songs from The Uncanny for the amazing community that inspired it. In addition to music, visual artists from all over the world will be coming to paint murals in the Akumal Pueblo.
In other news, I've been writing songs and making demos for a new record. I'll be sharing these works in progress monthly starting October 19th via the Ruby Rae Fan Club. For the price of a cup of coffee ($3 a month) - you get the entire Ruby Rae back catalog + anything new we release + these little love notes once a month. Can't wait to share these songs with you!
