Playing a few sweet northeast dates with Canadian folk duo Moonfruits in October! Moonfruits bring so much passion & stunning songwriting to their craft, I'm thrilled to be sharing the stage with them!First up, Burlington VT on October 11th at a venue I've been dreaming about playing, Light Club Lamp Shop - if you have friends or family in the area, please send them our way!
Next up - New York City at Rockwood 3 on October 15th (doors at 9:30)! Room 3 is a small, intimate room which sounds perfect for this show. I'm so excited to be playing NYC on this run. Tickets are on sale: $12 in advance and $15 day of the show. Get yours now!
Finally, Dew Drop Inn DC with both Moonfruits and we are joined with an acoustic set by Maryjo Mattea! These are going to be very special shows, don't miss them!
What can I tell you about the new record? We are still on track to finish the record by the end of the year. The song arrangements are finished, and we are creating / adding new sounds to each song. Lawson produces an entire idea for the song, then we listen and make any changes, repeat. In the past three weeks we've made outstanding progress. They sound like a dream come to fruition, each one feels like it's own story.
I've been listening to these songs in my car and driving too fast in the excitement of sharing them with the world. Thank you for your patience!
