Happy New Year! | January 2018

Good morning!

Happy New Year!! 2017 was a wonderful and challenging year for us. We kicked off the year playing Good Records, Crown & Harp, and Docs Records in Dallas & Fort Worth (shout out to The Good Show + WHATABURGER), toured New England with Supersmall, played the Roscoe Singer-Songwriter music festival, the iconic Phoenicia Diner, and opened up for Ghostbusters (and Paul Feig) at the Tribeca Drive-In Dinner & A Movie Series!

In other news, I wrote and demoed some new songs that hopefully will be recorded and released in 2018. I'll be sharing the demos via the Ruby Rae Fan Club on Bandcamp this week! Subscribe to hear them and new stuff we are working on.

This year I'll be hosting a Ruby Rae & Friends Songwriter Nite at Freddy's Bar in Brooklyn on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. This month we're featuring Mary-Elaine Jenkins and Ben Killen on January 10th - should be a rockin' time!

We are so grateful and thankful for all your love and support this year! Thank you so much, and cheers to new music & more shows in 2018!

As always check out our website + email me to say hello or with questions - I love to hear from you!

Unwinnable Says:

"From the haunting opening track “Last Night I Was A Virgin,” to the dance rock pop of “Magnetic Joy,” to the shimmering dreamy outro of “Three Sirens,” the album reveals a singer-songwriter and her band pushing into uncharted waters, with only rich harmonies and finely crafted production to bring their ship ashore on the other side."
