Happy New Year | January 2017

2016 IN REVIEW Happy New Year! First things first, let's take a quick look back to 2016. The first half of the year we spent working on and releasing "The Uncanny," we are so proud of this record!

This summer we collaborated with Hand Drawn Records on beautiful vinyl versions of the album + the lipstick red "Hedy Lamarr" single, released this fall. Vinyl is available online in the shop and at the fine stores listed below.

Throughout 2016 we played some fantastic shows in New York, Los Angeles, DC, Philly, and the Boston area - thank you so much for all your love and support! Thanks for coming out and shaking your thing!

Finally, we are thrilled to be included in The Unwinnable Best of 2016 Music List with some brilliant musicians (David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Beyoncé, Radiohead). You can check out their full list and the Spotify playlist of nominees here.

SHOWS We are starting 2017 off with a bang, a full band show at The Bitter End on Friday, January 13th in New York!

The following week, we head to Dallas for two shows on January 20th at Good Records and the Crown & Harp. A smashing new poster by Katherine Hardy is above - and if you have friends in the New York or Dallas area, send them our way.

Looking forward to new shows, new releases, and more music in 2017!

"From the haunting opening track “Last Night I Was A Virgin,” to the dance rock pop of “Magnetic Joy,” to the shimmering dreamy outro of “Three Sirens,” the album reveals a singer-songwriter and her band pushing into uncharted waters, with only rich harmonies and finely crafted production to bring their ship ashore on the other side."
