One More Week Until The Uncanny!

The release of the new full length Ruby Rae album is one week away! I'll be playing Rockwood Music Hall with the current excellent iteration of the full band (Ed Coleman - guitar, Tyler Beckwith - drums, Colin Dempsey - bass, Jeremy Moore - vocals), and I could not be more excited! I'm very grateful to get to play with such talented musicians, and for the opportunity to share this music with you.

This album has been an epic undertaking. It has changed my life, even before it's release into the world. To help understand this whole process, I wrote some of my thoughts down in essay form on Medium. If you are interested, you can read about it here:

At the Rockwood show we will have CD copies available, digital download cards, beautiful posters by Katherine Hardy, new t-shirts, totebags and more delicious merch! On Friday, July 8th, "The Uncanny" will be available online via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Tidal, and many more online music shops. AND we are thrilled to be in the process of creating vinyl copies of "The Uncanny" with Hand Drawn Records (more info on this soon).

If you are in the NYC area this weekend, I'll also be playing at a very cool event called Blackout - Storytelling Sessions at Sidewalk Cafe on Sunday, July 3rd at 7pm. We'll turn out the lights, light some candles, and tell you the stories behind the music.
